Diamond Resorts International award-winning Cabo Azul Resort to re-open September 1, 2015

One-hundred and fifty-four of the state-of-the-art villas, the fitness center, the PAZ Spa and restaurants: Javier's and Flor de Noche, as well as the cafe, will be open and available to provide members, owners and guests.

LAS VEGAS – Diamond Resorts International announces the re-opening of its Cabo Azul Resort & Spa in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico on September 1, 2015 following renovations to the resort due to damages from Hurricane Odile last year.

Members and guests can once again enjoy this Cabo hotspot – the impressive oceanfront tri-level infinity pool with thatched roof swim-up bar offering a wide variety of beverages and serenity pool with new cocoons and lounge chairs. The new Beach Club features beachfront cabanas, an outdoor shower as well as a food and beverage bar with wood decking providing convenient access to the beach.

“We have worked very hard to restore Cabo Azul to its world-class status, and we are thrilled that the resort is open to once again provide our members, owners and guests with exceptional experiences that truly help them Stay Vacationed,” said David Palmer, President and CEO of Diamond Resorts International.

One-hundred and fifty-four of the state-of-the-art villas, the fitness center, the PAZ Spa and restaurants: Javier’s and Flor de Noche, as well as the cafe, will be open and available to provide members, owners and guests with an unforgettable vacation experience. All the original buildings and villas have been repaired, maintaining the luxury, lavish amenities and accommodations for which Cabo Azul is known.

Other new enhancements include new furnishings throughout the resort, upgraded door locks featuring the latest technology and enhanced fitness equipment, providing our members, owners and guests with the newest accommodations and recreation options. Ongoing efforts include the addition of 172 new guest suites and a new member/guest lounge to be completed in November.

As a result of generous donations, The Diamond Resorts International Foundation (DRIF) provided more than $100,000 in disaster relief to Diamond Resorts Cabo Azul Resort team members as well as others in the San Jose del Cabo community following Hurricane Odile.
