WestHouse New York introduces a new luxury hotel concept

Curated upscale privileges complement the highest service standards and a premier location where Central Park is steps away.

NEW YORK – Debuting this Fall in the center of Manhattan, just steps away from Central Park and Carnegie Hall, WestHouse is more than just a new boutique hotel; it is an entirely new hospitality concept that provides a curated portfolio of upscale services and amenities at an unprecedented value, and an elevated level of intuitive service designed to satisfy the world’s most discerning guests in an environment reminiscent of a luxurious New York Townhouse.

“House Away from Home”
Award-winning design firm Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) conceived the overall design for WestHouse, creating timeless interiors that pay homage to the property’s historical location dating back to the 1920s.  Upon arrival to WestHouse, guests, referred to as ‘hotel residents,’ will feel as if they’ve entered the pied-a-terre of a world traveler. “The Den” and “The Terrace” convey a luxurious “house away from home” experience where guests will enjoy the refined ambiance of a high-end residence. The Den, located on lobby level, will provide all hotel guests with premium alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic refreshments, Barista crafted coffees, and international culinary offerings throughout the day. Located on the 23rd floor, and featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows showcasing breathtaking views, “The Terrace” is a relaxing lounge with separate dining areas where guests can savor an array of delectable breakfast items as well as hors d’oeuvres and evening canapes.

Additionally, WestHouse has partnered with the premier bespoke concierge firm, Luxury Attache, to create WestHouse Attache, which will offer an in-house team of expert lifestyle curators providing unparalleled service by creating distinctive personal itineraries for each guest. From designing a private museum tour or providing access to a chic, coveted restaurant, the WestHouse Attaches will tailor experiences to ensure guests receive a level of individualized service that addresses their every desire and need.

“We recognized a niche within the industry that was not being addressed by any New York City Hotel,” said Karla Keskin, General Manager. “What we have composed for this lifestyle luxury property is an experience that blends the exceedingly superb privileges of a private club with the elegant residential comforts of a refined hotel environment.”

WestHouse will offer 172 refined and exquisitely appointed guest rooms including 18 spacious suites. Guests will find a sanctuary in the elegant and spacious 1500-square-foot Presidential Suite, offering dual views of Central Park and Times Square. Each room is replete with distinctive amenities to make a guest feel comfortably at-home, including custom-made furnishings and fittings, luxurious bespoke DayNa Decker bath and body products, plush specially-designed 400 thread-count SFERRA Venetian bed linens, Dean & DeLuca sweet and savory snacks, and even an ambient scent specifically created by 12.29 for WestHouse.

Fall in Love with Sleep
Exclusive to WestHouse, all of its “Terrace Suites” will be outfitted by the premier specialty sleep innovator, Sleep¦Studio.  Each Suite, with its own private outdoor terrace, will be furnished with Sleep Studio’s bedding system that offers the latest technology, allowing the mattress to adjust to different zones of the body and provide maximum support and comfort. Guests will also be able to tailor their own night’s rest through a series of options such sleep masks, aromatherapy oils* and other amenities such as turndown chocolates created for relaxation- all to guarantee a deep, restorative sleep.

Inspired Architecture & Design
JBI took their cues from the original building, dating back to 1927, and drew inspiration from the 1920s with design details influenced by Art Deco. The color palette used in the lobby, reception and Den is a sophisticated blend of heather grey, cobalt blue, navy blue, amber, and bronze – a fresh take on a regal palette.

Inspired by the WestHouse logo that features a crest and a key, JBI designed an alluring display of antique keys set on the wall behind the reception desk. Behind the desk is The Den, which is divided into multiple seating areas and features a chic selection of furniture pieces and an intimate bar.

“We are honored to partner with WestHouse New York to create a brand new type of hotel experience designed for the sophisticated traveler in New York City,” said Jeffrey Beers, founder of Jeffrey Beers International. “JBI conceived WestHouse as a boutique hotel that feels like a well-appointed home. It was designed as a timeless homage to the past and incorporates a rich selection of dark woods, textured marbles and bold graphics to create interiors that are modern and contemporary.”

The WestHouse Guestrooms and Suites boast a timeless tone-on-tone palette, using dark woods in the entry that convey a classic residential touch. All guestrooms will feature Wi-Fi, marble-top desks with beveled make-up mirrors ideal for dining or working, and an In-Room Pantry, among other plush amenities.

WestHouse, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, revolutionizes the traditional hotel through innovation and unparalleled service. In addition to its favorable proximity to Central Park, WestHouse is also located just minutes away from many of the world’s most stylish couture on Fifth Avenue; the finest art and culture with Carnegie Hall and MoMA on the doorstep, Broadway Shows, fine dining, and other New York City landmarks and attractions.
