Quinta da Marinha invites UK golfers to make up for lost time

Hotel Quinta da Marinha is part of the ‘Great Hotels of the World’ portfolio and, as well as golf, offers an extensive range of other sports including yoga, golf, tennis, horse riding and surfing, as well as bike rides around the resort.

Having survived more than 600 years of conflict, Portugal shares one of the world’s oldest alliances with the UK, and Lisbon’s Quinta da Marinha hotel is relishing the chance to rekindle its love affair with UK golfers following the lifting of Covid-19 travel quarantine restrictions.

The popular luxury resort is looking forward to welcoming players old and new through its doors, with an array of eye-catching two, three and seven-night bed-and-breakfast breaks available between now and the end of the year and prices starting from €319 per person.

Just a 30-minute drive from Lisbon in stunning Cascais, Hotel Quinta da Marinha celebrated its 20th birthday in style earlier this year with a €5m upgrade, and golfers can enjoy its full range of five-star facilities with the latest stay-and-play packages, with strict health and safety measures observed at all times.

As well as featuring golf on its outstanding Robert Trent Jones-designed par-71 golf course, which offers magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Sintra Mountains, all packages include a number of other benefits including VIP treatment and a welcome gift on arrival, one or more dinners, 20 per cent discounts in the hotel’s Trent Jones Bar and full access to the health club.

Hotel Quinta da Marinha is part of the ‘Great Hotels of the World’ portfolio and, as well as golf, offers an extensive range of other sports including yoga, golf, tennis, horse riding and surfing, as well as bike rides around the resort and to explore Cascais and the breathtaking beach of Praia do Guincho, located just 5km away.

In addition, guests can relax at the hotel’s luxury health club featuring a sauna, Turkish bath and indoor swimming pool and feast on a choice of dining options including the Rocca gourmet restaurant and Monte-Mar restaurant.
