Loews Hotels and exhale to launch new Miami spa

The new spa will feature 16 spa therapy rooms, large changing rooms with a steam room and whirlpool, a mani-pedi lounge and an expansive gym with a ‘mind body’ studio where guests can experience award-winning Core Fusion programmes for the ultimate full body workout.

Just in time for summer, Loews Miami Beach Hotel is proud to announce the launch of a luxurious new spa with exhale on 1 May 2014, which will bring award-winning treatments and therapies to the heart of Miami South Beach.

Located in the hotel’s beloved 790-room historic St. Moritz tower, the spa will be exhale’s third location within a Loews Hotel (after Loews Atlanta and Loews Hollywood), and its 23rd location overall.

The new spa will feature 16 spa therapy rooms, large changing rooms with a steam room and whirlpool, a mani-pedi lounge and an expansive gym with a ‘mind body’ studio where guests can experience award-winning Core Fusion programmes for the ultimate full body workout. Focusing on core strength, Core Fusion is a heart-pumping, energy-inducing fitness programme allowing participants to strengthen and lengthen their bodies, while refocusing the mind. Breath and movement are integrated in exhale’s signature Flow yoga class, an uplifting yoga experience.

To get travellers bikini ready for the summer, exhale will also host weekly outdoor classes on the beach. One of the latest therapies, a slimming and toning body therapy called Deep Detox is also available to those looking to trim off the last few inches before hitting the beach.

A full menu of spa therapies on offer at the new spa includes signature restorative massages, award-winning and rejuvenating facials, nail care, waxing and Eastern healing therapies. For those enjoying the sun at Loews Miami Beach, exhale will perform cabana and poolside therapies and can tailor select facials and massages for post-sun relief.

“The opening of exhale South Beach gives guests the opportunity to further enhance their resort experience, whether part of a group programme agenda, a vacation indulgence or a local resident coming to take a class,” said Alex Tonarelli, Managing Director of Loews Miami Beach Hotel. “We’re pleased to welcome exhale as our spa partner and look forward to introducing their renowned mind and body programmes to our guests.”
