Anecdote about Orlando

I once had a holiday in Orlando, and I had a gorgeous time! The weather was blisteringly hot, when I went for a swim in the sea it was akin to crawling into a hot bath, the people were relaxed, un-perturbed and they were friendly and easy-going.

In the night-time, as the sun was descending into the waves of the cooling sea, the streets were becoming invigorated with a hum of energy. Orlando has a great nightlife. There are lots of sports bars, dance clubs and comedy clubs. If you’re a fan of live music, you can sample the local talent at the local bars or if you fancy a quiet evening out then there are plenty of wine bars and restaurants. You will be spoilt for choice.

My Habitat
When I was away I stayed in a luxury villa in Florida and I enjoyed the comfort I would have had if I was at home. Villas in Florida offer lots of privacy and freedom.

Most villas have superb games rooms that consist of air hockey and pool and tables. I was particularly glad about the former. I’m a mean contestant at air hockey but I can’t hold a pool cue to save my life! Outside, you will find basketball courts, tennis courts, and heated saunas and spas. Your recreational and leisurely needs are catered for.

Villas in Florida are rented out to suit a wide range of budgets. But most of them have a furniture package that consists of

  • Bed linen and towels
  • Most white goods. Microwave, refrigerator, washing machine and cooker
  • Cable TV
  • Patio furniture
  • Iron

I have been to many places, and they have all scored high in my retrospective review of the place. I’ve been to Dominican Republic, Fuerteventura, Spain and Crete to name a few. But take the combined heat and perks from all these places then we have Florida! Holidays in Florida epitomise the ultimate fun holiday experience! Here’s why you will never be bored. Florida holidays have museums, art galleries, amusement parks, fine cuisine, beautiful parks, varied nightlife, sun, sea, sand and sea-life centres! Here are some of what I think are the best:

  • Best Museum: The famous Dali Museum. Hosting the work of Salvador Dali. A stunning display of mind-folding dreamscapes for you to get lost in.
  • Best Gallery: Galleria Silecchia, 20 South Palm Avenue. A gallery featuring contemporary sculpture and mixed-media paintings.
  • Best Amusement Park: Busch gardens. It is the amusement park that has the most rides in Florida, and the biggest ride, Montu.
  • Best restaurant: Crazy Fish Bar & Grill. Scores high with quality (and freshness) of the seafood, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Best Park: Rock Springs Run State Reserve. An area of natural beauty where you can go hiking, cycling and horse riding. There are also equestrian camping facilities available; although I’ve never seen a tent big enough to accommodate a horse!
  • Best club: Club La Vela. The biggest nightclub in Florida and America. There are 9 dance floors under one roof each themed of a different musical genre. Oh and there’s swimming pools…get your dancing costume on!
  • Best beach: Siesta Key. Described as being “the finest whitest sand beach in the world”, this beach, due to its quartz content, is cool underfoot. No more blistered soles!

If you’re looking for exciting Florida holidays, or Orlando holidays, then why not check out what Ocean Florida has to offer? They have a range of villas in Florida that can accommodate your holiday needs.
