Enjoy the magic of Disney at sea

A trip to Disney World in Florida is a dream come true for every child, so why not make your next holiday extra special for your little ones by combining your stay at Walt Disney World with a Disney Cruise? Get ready to set sail on the voyage of a lifetime!

Disney offers a number of cruises to choose from, ranging from three to seven nights, giving families great flexibility and choice.

In December this year, Disney will launch its Miami Cruise around the Caribbean, which departs from Miami, Florida – a colourful city known for its endless dining, golfing and shopping opportunities. Cruises on offer include the seven-night eastern Caribbean Cruise which takes place over Christmas and stops off at the stunning island of St. Maarten before heading to the sun-soaked resorts of either St. Thomas or St. Juan.  Guests are then dropped off at Disney’s very own private island, Castaway Cay, where a number of fun-filled family activities await. Or you can choose to celebrate New Year in style with Disney’s six-night Western Caribbean Cruise, which takes in the beautiful St. Martin the Grand Cayman where you can relax on its famous seven mile beach, before visiting Mexico’s outstanding resorts of Costa Maya and Cozumel.

On board the ship itself there are endless opportunities for fun and relaxation, with many of your favourite Disney characters accompanying you on your magical voyage. Children of all ages will be kept amused with a number of different kids clubs on offer, where they can get involved in various activities, including singing and dancing with Minnie and Mickey! Teenagers are also catered for, with their own special chill-out area, Vibe, which boasts a number of video games and large-screen TVs. The ships also have several swimming pools on board, one with its own water coaster, ensuring the whole family has a splashing good time. Families can enjoy evening deck parties complete with firework displays, together with live performances of their favourite Disney musicals and frequent screenings of much-loved Disney classics in the ship’s own Buena Vista Theatre.

And for mums and dads, there are many adults-only areas where you can treat yourselves to some well-deserved rest and relaxation.  One such area is the ship’s indulgent spa, where you can get a stress-busting massage or enjoy a special couples’ treatment. There is also the quiet Cove Pool where you can enjoy a swim without any noisy little ones in tow. Or you can simply relax with a coffee and a book in the Cove Café. You can even have a romantic night alone in one of the two adults-only restaurants, Remy and Palo, each serving delicious top cuisine.

Enjoy your Disney Cruise either at the beginning or end of your trip to Walt Disney World, Florida. The purchase of your Disney tickets will mean you get unlimited access to Disney’s four theme parks and two water parks, allowing you and your family to experience the magic of Disney at your leisure.
