SITA OnAir has released findings from the 2015 SITA Passenger IT Trends Survey showing how people like to use inflight entertainment and connectivity.
The average airline passenger polled by SITA OnAir values entertainment above other inflight services 64% of the time. They fall within the 83% of passengers who always fly with a smartphone. And more often than not, they would like to text and/or email, get live flight information, and stream content directly to their devices onboard the aircraft.
