Comments As a luxury inbound Tour Operator based in South Africa, one of the first things we did before launching the company was to invest in an online travel & tourism research. Chief to the principal objective of the reseach was to try to esablish online presence of travel & tourism companies in South Africa, with more emphasis on 2010 World Cup. Our research found out that although travel & tourism companies have a reasonable presence online, only airliners have credible & customer friendly webistes that are ecommerce-based.



Furthermore, the use of social media as a means of customer relationship management was appauling, to say the least. As Madikwe treasure Tours, we belief that we are not there yet, but we are getting there at least.
