| Comments | The Swept Wing Aircraft Design is subject to a pitch-up in a strong, weather induced up-draft! (personal experience!) Not known by the "Industry"! This pitch-up, with it's increase in AOA is recognized by the computerized "Flight enevelope protection program", as a possible stall threat and it shoves the nose over into a steep dive attitude. The pilot reacts by attempting to pull the nose back up to level flight. Consider all this activity in a large thunderstorm! |
