CommentsI am touched by your very kind message of wishing health and happiness for the year 2007. As a subscriber of TravelDailyNews I have gained a lot through reading the latest news and accomplishments and diversified issues in the Tourism Domain. I have occasionally transferred the statistics, analysis, events described in the newsletter to my students and have given them your address to apply to be added to your mailing list.

Your newsletter is very informative and up-to-date to my view and I believe it provides the best opportunity for the tourism stakeholders to keep themselves informed and alert to the latest issues with regard to the development of tourism. I wish you greater success.

Poll
How do you expect luxury travel to perform in times of economic downturn?.

Providers of luxury travel products are going to witness shorter stays by their customers and an increase in seasonality.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.

Both people paying for their personal trips and firms paying for their top executives' business trips will cut back on travel expenses, thus affecting all luxury travel providers.

It is going to be business as usual. Those people opting for high-end travel products are not going to be affected by the looming crisis.
