PGA Catalunya Resort launches concierge-style luxury property rentals

The new luxury rental packages include green fees on Spain’s No.1 Stadium Course and its sister Tour Course, and are based on four people sharing a villa or apartment.

GIRONA, SPAIN – PGA Catalunya Resort, near Barcelona, has launched a new property rental scheme giving golfers the opportunity to book three-night stays in luxury villas and apartments, including 36-holes of golf and full access to the resort’s practice facilities.

The new luxury rental packages include green fees on Spain’s No.1 Stadium Course and its sister Tour Course, and are based on four people sharing a villa or apartment.

Located just 50 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona and 15 minutes from historic Girona, PGA Catalunya Resort’s rental accommodation includes:

  • The eco-efficient, three bedroomed Sifera Villa, which offers spacious rooms and a glass frontage that connects to a large external terrace with infinity pool and sweeping views of the award-winning Stadium Course, forested estate and mountains beyond.
  • Four bedroomed semi-detached villas with wall-to-wall sliding glass doors that open the living spaces onto expansive terraces and private gardens.
  • One, two and three-bedroomed La Selva Apartments, perfect for entertaining, situated at the heart of the estate with uninterrupted views of the Stadium Course’s 18th fairway and the Pyrenees beyond.

Guests will also have the option of self-catered or fully catered stays, and will be able to make restaurant and theatre reservations, or plan ski trips to the nearby Pyrenees, via PGA Catalunya Resort’s own bespoke concierge service.

Julio Delgado, CEO of PGA Catalunya Resort, commented: “Last year’s Tourism Report from SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. found that almost 20% of European golfers surveyed stayed in a villa/self catering accommodation on their last Spanish golf break – and of those, almost a third stayed in villa/self catering accommodation ON course.

“It is clear luxury holiday rentals are growing in popularity, especially among groups and families, and we wanted to offer this to our growing customer base across Europe.”
