This is the third time MAPFRE Asistencia has received the ITIJ prize. It was also awarded to the company in the Best Travel Insurance Company category in 2011 and the Best Assistance Company category in 2005.
MAPFRE Asistencia has won the 2013 International Insurer/Underwriter of the Year prize (Best Travel Insurance Company in 2013) awarded by the prestigious International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ). The award was presented on November 7 in Vienna during the International Travel & Health Insurance Conference (ITIC), the only forum specializing in Travel and Assistance Insurance.
The Deputy Director General of MAPFRE Asistencia, Gregorio R. Santos, received the award at a ceremony where he acknowledged the efforts and professionalism of the company employees and teams who have made this distinction possible.
