The Hotel Gotham 100 King Street Manchester will open in 2015

The hotel will also feature luxury suites within the building’s inner sanctum. Each will be equipped with its own private, internal garden.

The Bespoke Hotel Group is proud to announce the development of The Hotel Gotham at 100 King Street, Manchester. Set in an iconic, historic building, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the new luxury property will open in 2015, in collaboration with the Marshall Construction Group, the owners of the property.   

The project will result in the creation of 100 new jobs, both full and part time, with The Hote l Gotham featuring 60 deluxe rooms, alongside a restaurant and both a private members’ bar and garden situated on the roof of the building.  Work will begin in March 2014, the hotel will open early Spring 2015.

The hotel will also feature luxury suites within the building’s inner sanctum. Each will be equipped with its own private, internal garden.

“Hotel Gotham promises to be a fun, witty destination and a little bit naughty. We want it to be the sexiest hotel in Europe”, added Bespoke Hotels chairman Robin Sheppard. “Working with the skills of the Marshall Construction Group team as our partners we hope to open up thecharacter of this majestic building and present it to the Manchester public as a hotel they can be truly proud of.”

Nearly 80years after Sir Edwin Lutyens’ designed 100 King Street and having previously served as headquarters of the Midland Bank, the beautiful Portland stone exterior will regain it’s local nickname, “The King of King Street”.
