Beachcomber Hotels is delighted to unveil a stunning new addition to its collection of luxury hotels, Royal Palm Marrakech, set to open in Spring 2014.

Beachcomber Hotels, known as pioneers of the Indian Ocean hotel industry, own and manage eight luxury hotels in Mauritius and Sainte Anne Resort & Spa in the Seychelles. Building on the success of their flagship hotel Royal Palm Mauritius, Beachcomber is delighted to announce the imminent opening of the authentic Royal Palm Marrakech, their first hotel away from the Indian Ocean.

Conveniently located just 12 km from the bustling centre of Marrakech and 8 km from the airport, this luxurious five star property, inspired by Berber culture, is situated within a vast 231- hectare estate amongst age-old olive trees, offering a serene and tranquil haven to its guests.

The wide choice of well-appointed and spacious accommodation at Royal Palm Marrakech moves from the central area of the hotel along a peaceful avenue of olive trees. All 135 lavish suites and villas have been furnished to the highest standard opening onto either a generous balcony or terrace. Suites are set over three floors with breath taking views over the gardens, the magnificent hotel golf course and across to the snow- capped Atlas mountains beyond.

There is accommodation to suit all, from couples to families and groups of all sizes, guests can choose from spacious Junior Suites to a choice of well-equipped family suites. For those wanting the ultimate, extravagant Moroccan experience, the Penthouse Suite with its very own private plunge pool will not disappoint.

Unlike many of the five star properties in Morocco, Royal Palm Marrakech has a fantastic choice of family and group accommodation with 11 outstanding villas each with their own private pool and traditional hammam plus fully fitted kitchen and BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. Families with young children will enjoy the kids club and professional babysitting service.

The magnificent Par 72 golf course, set to be one of the best golf courses in Marrakech has been designed by the established golf architect Cabell B. Robinson. The course offers welcoming fairways, gleaming water hazards, generous greens and bunkers with excellent practice and coaching facilities completing the superb golf offering.

There are additional facilities for the active guest including four tennis courts, two mini tennis courts and a squash court. The fully equipped sports centre boasts fitness specific rooms such as a cardio room, pilates room and kinesis room, and an impress 25 metre heated pool. Lazier days can be spent enjoying a cooling dip in the 2,000 m2 pool.

No stay would be complete without pampering at the superb Spa by Clarins, exclusive to the Royal Palm Marrakech, with special areas reserved for women only. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan hammam in one of the 5 single or double hammam areas for the ultimate genuine treatment. Guests can enjoy a range of massages in one of the 8 single or 2 double massage cabins, 2 baleno massage cabins or enjoy the haven of well-being in the yoga pavilion.

Dining at the Royal Palm is an experience in its own right, as every one of the four fine dining restaurants will be headed by multi starred chef Philippe Jourdin. Originating from Normandy, this multi-awarded chef began his career at Relais Louis XIII (two Michelin stars) as second chef then moved to the famous Tour D’Argent (three Michelin stars) from 1988 to 1993. This is where he met Michel de Matteis, Royal Palm’s Executive Chef and worked with him for three years.

In 2003 he was approached by the Four Season Group to launch their Terre Blanche resort in the Var. As their Executive Chef he oversaw all operations for the five restaurants including the gastronomic Le Faventia (first Michelin star in 2005 and second Michelin star in 2009) until 2010. The Bar at Royal Palm is sure to be a popular hub, with its own cigar cellar and indoor and outdoor seating offering exotic cocktails and refreshing mint tea.

The world renowned welcome, service and quality associated with Royal Palm Mauritius is soon to arrive in Marrakech, Morocco.
