Travel Experts marks 25th anniversary with new logo

Refreshed brand image coincides with company evolution.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Travel Experts is unveiling its new logo as one element in their yearlong 25th Anniversary celebrations. When Travel Experts first opened its doors in 1989, the host agency concept was yet to be proven, airline ticket sales commissions were the core of the business and the technology to support working remotely was not available. Fast forward to 2014 to find Travel Experts with $250 million in sales, the distinction of being one of Virtuoso‘s top producers and hosting 275 independent contractors across 30 states and around the world.

“We launched the company with eight empty desks waiting to be filled by Independent Contractors, but that concept was very slow to catch on in 1989,” said Susan Ferrell, president of Travel Experts. “Our company has evolved with the times and our growth, combined with celebrating 25 years in the travel industry, made it time to hit the refresh button.”

Each designer had background on Travel Expert’s company character and personality and they submitted hundreds of logo versions. The new logo reflects the maturity, professionalism and refreshed vision of Travel Experts. The dots on the globe depict the global reach, destination knowledge and travel experience of Travel Experts professionals. The new logo is dynamic and signals to clients, employees and suppliers that Travel Experts is ready for the next 25 years.
