Modern travelers seek for innovative services and products

Innovation moves industries ahead. Is there Innovation in Hospitality and Travel? Plenty!!! TravelDailyNews and Professor Stavros Sindakis are looking for success stories of Innovation examples and projects in any sector of Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality.

Travel Media Applications and TravelDailyNews International work in partnership with Professor Stavros Sindakis developing a regular column to present and discuss innovative cases from the travel and hospitality industries. This initiative focuses on identifying and describing methods and means with which high-performing organizations satisfy customers, reduce operating costs, protect the environment, and become sustainable.

“A forward thinking academic/professional with substantial experience in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in the knowledge intensive industries, Stavros proves through his work how knowledge-based innovation and technological advancement along with the pursuit and development of strategic alliances boost companies’ innovation performance, leading them to generate competitive advantages and achieve organizational sustainability” stressed Theodore Koumelis, Founder and Managing Editor of TravelDailyNews Media Network.

According to Professor Sindakis, “The increasing consumer demand for better products and services has led to a spectacular upsurge of innovation over the last years. This is particularly accurate in the Hospitality and Travel industries, where competition levels are extremely high; often leading to the failure of companies that are less successful in change adaptation, technology adoption, or market response, failing to identify and pursue innovative opportunities that would allow them to continue and prosper”.

With this new column, titled “Innovation in Hospitality & Travel”, TravelDailyNews begins a new series of articles by Professor Stavros Sindakis dealing with Innovation and Entrepreneurship issues and case examples from the travel market. The column starts publishing on this coming Tuesday, April 1st, 2014, and will be updated on a weekly basis.

“We invite you to enjoy reading this column as a contribution to our effort to define and illustrate innovation as a critical element for tourism organizations and companies. Through this effort we are looking for the suggestions of the travel professionals regarding innovation cases in the travel industry worldwide”, said Theodore Koumelis.
