Carrani Tours will operate their new partner's Rome sightseeing tours under the Gray Line label.
NEW YORK – After meeting at the ITB trade show in Berlin, Gray Line and Carrani Tours, the leading tour operator in Rome for over 85 years, created a partnership that makes Carrani Tours the exclusive operator of all of Gray Line’s sightseeing tours in Rome – effective immediately.
“Since 1925, we have achieved many successes; however, this exclusive agreement with Gray Line is an important milestone for Carrani Tours,” said Mr. Paolo Delfini, President and Owner of Carrani Tours. “We are excited to deliver an exceptional experience to Gray Line Rome’s customers.”
In addition to top-ranked service and tours, Gray Line travelers will also benefit from Carrani Tours’ “Skip the Line” early access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Bringing the most tourists to the Vatican out of any Italian tour operator, Carrani Tours has been chosen as one of just three companies worldwide, and the only one from Italy, to have the exclusive privilege of entering the museum fifteen minutes before anybody else.

In its partnership with Carrani Tours, Gray Line, considered the father of sightseeing tours, will also work closely with Ciao Italy & Carrani Tours, the US branch of the Italian tour operator.
