Turkish Airlines’ inflight amenity kits triumph at Travel Plus Awards
Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey, won two significant awards at the annual Travel Plus Awards, which reward excellence in airline amenity kits, provided for passengers during flights. This year the awards were held in Hamburg on 8th April with amenitry kits judged on criteria including Trend, Pleasure, Luxury, Usability and Style.

Turkish Airlines won the top prize in the “Most Innovative Kit” category for its “Umrah Amenity Kit” specially presented to its passengers taking an Umrah pilgrimage. The kit contains a range of items specially designed to ensure maximum comfort for pilgrims both during their flight and at their destination.

Turkish Airlines won this category for the second consecutive year. Both specially designed kits were supplied to Turkish Airlines by FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist.

The second award won by Turkish Airlines this year was the “Trio Amenity Kit” presented to its Comfort Class passengers. The kit is a set of three bags that maintain novelty for passengers through regular rotation, including cosmetics supplied by the renowned German brand; Bogner.

Turkish Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Akif Konar commented: “Turkish Airlines is delighted to win these prestigious awards. We are determined to enhance our reputation especially on our registered seamless service quality and innovative approach at each stage of travel and these awards are the justified consequences of all efforts that we consistently centre on.”
