Costa neoCollection widely appreciated: Costa neoRiviera tops customer satisfaction ranking

In Spring the Costa neoRiviera obtained the highest company’s performance through its customers’ eyes. During 2014 summer season the Costa neoCollection is offering “slow cruising” to the finest and most exclusive destinations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

GENOA – There is increasing popularity for the Costa neoCollection, the new style of “slow cruising” launched by Costa Cruises on board smaller ships sailing to new destinations, off the beaten path.

In Spring 2014, the Costa neoRiviera, which offers neoCollection cruises together with the ship Costa neoRomantica, obtained the highest score for customer satisfaction of any Costa fleet member. The rating was based on customers’ answers to one simple question: “How likely are you to recommend our cruise to a friend/colleague/relative?” During summer season, Costa neoRiviera and Costa neoRomantica will offer slow cruises away from the bustle of mass tourism sailing to the most attractive destinations in the Mediterranean Sea and Northern Europe, including some that have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The 12-day itinerary in the Mediterranean Sea provided by Costa neoRiviera till September 1, 2014, will take guests in the loveliest and most historically evocative islands in Mare Nostrum – Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Capri, Malta and the Isle of Elba – as well as the Amalfi Coast, the Riviera Ligure and the Cote d’Azur. The Costa neoRiviera will head to Savona, Toulon (France), Propriano (Corsica), Olbia (Sardinia), Trapani (Sicily), Malta, Salerno, Capri and Portoferraio (Isle of Elba). The range of tours on offer on this cruise is quite extraordinary and includes seaside trips to inimitable gems like the Costa Smeralda, San Vito lo Capo, Positano, Amalfi, Portofino and the island of Favignana.

The Costa neoRomantica will be offering 13 to 15-day summer cruises from Amsterdam to the Baltic cities and the fjords, beyond the North Cape and towards the breathtaking landscape, of the Arctic Ocean. The Baltic itinerary include wonderful cities like the splendid, imperial St. Petersburg (Russia), where the ship will spend 2 days and one night, Helsinki (Finland), Ronne (Denmark), Tallin (Estonia) Stockholm (Sweden), Visby (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark).

Those who want to experience midnight sun and capture the dramatic beauty of the Norwegian fjords can choose the itinerary to North Cape, calling at Hellesylt, Geiranger, the historic city of Trondheim, followed by the North Cape, continental Europe’s northernmost point, Tromso, the Lofoten Islands, amongst peaks overlooking turquoise water and fishing villages, Olden and Bergen. Anyone wishing to experience their shortest ever night and discover the icy kingdom, Costa neoRomantica is offering an exclusive one-off cruise departing from Amsterdam on July 7, 2014. This is an extended panoramic voyage off the Norwegian coast, beyond the Arctic Circle, to the Svalbard Islands.

In Autumn both Costa neoCollection ships will be deployed in the Mediterranean Sea offering 11-day cruises, allowing Guests to visit in one voyage picturesque destinations and historical monuments.

The Costa neoCollection is ideal for couples, for a very special honeymoon and for groups of friends, with services of the highest quality designed to allow each guest to experience the cruise at their own pace, and tailor made excursions for small groups of guests. In fact longer calls in each port, often overnight and the next day, allow to explore in depth each place visited, thanks to the new “neo experience” excursions – tours tailor-made for small groups of not more than 25 people. Quality is the hallmark of Costa neoCollection as it is present from the time of booking to the actual slow cruise experience itself. Before leaving, Guests can consult a Tour Expert and personalize their itinerary and once on board, a Concierge assists them in the choice of custom-made solutions. Also gastronomy offer is astonishing on neoCollection: Costa’s guests can enjoy local gastronomic traditions tasting ingredients available in the various ports of call, whether they are ashore or on board; neoCollection menus propose recipes from the Italian finest culinary tradition and guests can dine at any time without having to choose a particular sitting.
