PhoCusWright announces the 2014 Travel Innovation Summit Scholarship Winners

Each year, dozens of innovators apply to demonstrate applications, technologies and solutions that will transform travel planning, purchasing and sharing. Thirty-two are selected to take the stage, and five receive scholarships based on a further vetting process.

NEW YORK – Travel industry research authority PhoCusWright Inc. has announced the scholarship winners of The Travel Innovation Summit, held on the first day of The PhoCusWright Conference, November 11-13, 2014, in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Each year, dozens of innovators apply to demonstrate applications, technologies and solutions that will transform travel planning, purchasing and sharing. Thirty-two are selected to take the stage, and five receive scholarships based on a further vetting process.

“Some really impressive companies have signed up to demonstrate at this year’s Travel Innovation Summit,” said PhoCusWright managing director, Tony D’Astolfo. “New business models and leading-edge technologies are constantly pushing the travel industry to new heights. The scholarship winners and presenting companies represent the most innovative concepts and advanced technologies we’ve seen this year.”

The Scholarship Committee is tasked with finding the five companies that demonstrate the greatest potential for success and the need for financial assistance. This year’s scholarship winners are:

  • VacationFutures
