Transaero Airlines starts operating Boeing 747-400 aircraft on the Saint Petersburg – Sochi route

For the first five months of 2014 Transaero Airlines’ passenger traffic through Pulkovo Airport increased by 35% over the same period of the previous year.

MOSCOW – On July 14, 2014, Transaero Airlines carried out the first scheduled flight on the Saint Petersburg – Sochi route using Boeing 747-400 aircraft with 522-seat capacity, the largest passenger aircraft currently operated in Russia.

This destination of Transaero’s flights from the city of the airline’s registration has become popular among its clients. The load factor for the flight from Saint Petersburg to Sochi reached 95%.

The launch of services from Saint Petersburg to Sochi using the airline’s largest widebody during peak tourism season aims to meet the high demand among the residents of Russia’s North West Federal District for flights to the most famous Russian Black Sea resort.

The UN 441/442 weekly flight will be operated on Mondays according to the following timetable:
Departure from Saint Petersburg at 12.55, arrival in Sochi at 16.25. Departure from Sochi at 18.05, arrival in Saint Petersburg at 21.10.
