HONG KONG, CHINA: Leading global hospitality management chain Swiss-Belhotel International has continued its expansion in the Middle East with the launch of Swiss-Belresort Ghantoot.
Swiss-Belresort Ghantoot – a heritage building on the shores of the Arabian Gulf that was originally built as a palace for the Abu Dhabi ruler – is located in Abu Dhabi and is only 40 minutes from Dubai.

The recently refurbished resort’s architecture exemplifies Arabian luxury and style, with golden walls, soaring domed ceilings, capacious balconies and generous living spaces. Just 20-25 minutes from the Mall of the Emirates, the four-star resort offers a calm and serene environment with its own sandy beach on the blue waters of a marina.
Swiss-Belresort Ghantoot is well suited to families with activities such as water scooters, banana boats and donut boats, as well as a large swimming pool surrounded with sun beds, umbrellas and furnished wooden cabanas and a separate children’s pool and kids club. The former palace also offers a health club with squash courts, fully equipped state-of-the-art gymnasium facilities, table tennis, billiards and rooms for steam, sauna and Jacuzzi with massages provided by expert therapists.

The resort was joined in the award-winning hotel group’s stable last month by Swiss-Belhotel Seef in Bahrain, with Swiss-Belinn Ghurbrah in Oman, Swiss-Belhotel Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Swiss-Belhotel Erbil in Iraq set to open by 2015 for a total of seven hotels. Swiss-Belhotel International currently operates the Swiss-Belhotel Plaza Kuwait, Qatar’s Swiss-Belhotel Doha and Swiss-Belhotel Seef in Bahrain.
The Hong Kong-based company will unveil 20 hotels globally this year, cementing its reputation as one of the world’s most exciting hospitality management groups.
Swiss-Belhotel International has more than 120 hotels, resorts and projects in its global portfolio with a presence in China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
