Vueling expands relationship with Accelya

Vueling has selected REVERA NEXT PRA – Accelya’s Passenger Revenue Accounting solution – to support its growing passenger volumes and evolving business model.

BARCELONA, MUMBAI – Accelya, the leading provider of financial and business intelligence solutions to the airline industry, announced that Vueling has selected REVERA NEXT PRA – Accelya’s Passenger Revenue Accounting solution – to support its growing passenger volumes and evolving business model.

Vueling has experienced phenomenal business growth in the past few years. Route & network expansion, distribution through travel agencies and new interline agreements are few of the changes to the airline’s business model. As a result, they now need to comply with industry rules and regulations that they had not experienced before. Vueling started looking for a revenue accounting solution to meet these specific requirements. After extensive study, they found Accelya’s REVERA NEXT PRA to be the best solution.

Accelya will provide the solution to Vueling on a hosted model. It will also help Vueling to seamlessly integrate REVERA NEXT PRA with Navitaire Open Skies – the airline’s passenger service system.

With this deal, REVERA NEXT will be serving two low cost airlines adopting a hybrid model – Vueling and GoAir.
