DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Dubai’s world-class business events infrastructure was put on full display September 8-10, 2014, as MCI Group, one of the world’s leading international association management, communication and event management companies, held its Global Account Management Summit 2014 in the emirate.
This year, the summit was hosted in Dubai in partnership with Jumeriah Creekside Hotel and Dubai Business Events (DBE), a division of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), as testament to the emirate’s rapid growth as a host for premier international business events.
The meeting, which brought together 75 of MCI Group’s business development and account managers from almost 30 countries, was held to increase the value of the company’s global client base. With a portfolio of business events accounts worth over US$100 million (AED367 milllion), the hosting of the summit in Dubai also gave MCI’s global team the chance to experience what the emirate has to offer as a business events destination capable of hosting international events of all sizes and scopes.
