Baltia Air Lines selects Swissport for ground handling

Baltia Air Lines is America's newest airline, currently undergoing Air Carrier Certification.

YPSILANTI, MICH. – Baltia Air Lines has signed a Ground Handling Agreement with Swissport USA, Inc. to handle its aircraft at JFK International Airport. Russell Thal, Baltia’s Executive Vice President stated, “Swissport will be handling Baltia’s aircraft at JFK.” He added, “Swissport provides aircraft ramp serving, passenger and luggage services at 266 airports in 45 countries.”

Baltia Air Lines is America’s newest airline, currently undergoing Air Carrier Certification. Baltia’s principal base of operations is at Willow Run Airport, Michigan. Upon Certification, Baltia will operate Boeing 747 aircraft across the Atlantic, from the U.S. to Europe.

This service is subject to receipt of government operating authority.
