Christmas sun holiday bookings up by 32% year-on-year

A1 Travel revealed that Christmas holiday bookings abroad have risen by 32% since 2013.

UNITED KINGDOM – Online travel agent, A1 Travel has revealed that they’ve seen an influx in Christmas holiday bookings since 2013. Despite the holiday season being a few months away, an increased number of customers are booking Christmas 2014 holidays well in advance.

Head of Marketing, Leon Shanahan says “compared to last year, bookings for holidays over the Christmas period are up by 32%. Savvy customers know that booking a holiday over Christmas can be very expensive near the departure date, so are booking early – a wise decision”.
