APG Interline E-Ticketing Program introduces its 100th airline partner in GDS

APG IET is open to all IATA and non IATA scheduled airlines, with the sole condition that they are “E-Ticketing eligible” in GDS.

Richard Burgess, President of APG Network, announces that Avianca (AV) has become operational in its APG IET program and is available for sale by travel agents in the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) worldwide. Avianca is the 100th airline joining the APG IET product. With the addition of this airline, APG also adds in to their portfolio all members of the Avianca Group: Aerogal (2K), Lacsa Airlines (LR), TACA (TA) and TACA Peru (T0).

APG IET Executive Product Director, Ophelie Cherdrong, noted that joining the APG IET program enables airlines to use YO-747 neutral E-Ticketing in over 104 IATA Billing and Settlement Plans (BSPs) globally and the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) in the United States, covering more than 150 countries, in which they may not be participant themselves. Thereby, the airlines widen their marketing reach to over 82,000 IATA and ARC accredited travel agents. In addition, the airlines gain access to the growing pool of Interline carriers using the APG IET service.

APG IET is open to all IATA and non IATA scheduled airlines, with the sole condition that they are “E-Ticketing eligible” in GDS.
