LEA named Best General Aviation Operator for third consecutive year

LEA was honoured at a ceremony held on 30 October 2014 at London’s Guildhall, marking the fifth time the company has won the award in eight years.

LONDON, ENGLAND – London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe’s largest business jet charter operators, is celebrating being named ‘Best General Aviation Operator’ in the prestigious Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) Excellence Awards for the third year in a row.

LEA was honoured at a ceremony held on 30 October 2014 at London’s Guildhall, marking the fifth time the company has won the award in eight years.

BACA is a worldwide organisation whose membership consists of more than 200 international aviation companies including brokers, charter airlines, airports, business aircraft operators and consultants. The objectives of BACA are to promote the highest standards of professionalism and ethics within the aviation industry. The award winners of BACA’s Excellence Awards are chosen by BACA members, who are invited to nominate the organisations they consider best-in-class.

Receiving the award, Patrick Margetson-Rushmore, LEA’s chief executive said: “We feel very honoured to have won this award again. The whole team at LEA, from the flight crew to the maintenance and operations teams, should feel very proud of themselves for continuing to offer our clients an unrivalled quality of service.”

George Galanopoulos, LEA’s managing director, added: “Earlier this year, LEA became part of the Luxaviation Group and this award is testament to our continued dedication to our customers and constant service improvement. We value highly our broker business and we are truly delighted that the international BACA members should recognise LEA in this way.”
