ACTA signs partnership to bring Travel Learning Campus (TLC) to its members

ACTA will be the first to launch a Travel Learning Campus for its members.

The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) has announced it has signed a partnership with Learning Library Inc. and DWG Performance to bring the Travel Learning Campus (TLC) to its members. Under this new agreement, TLC will be ACTA’s exclusive partner for Learning Management Systems and online course content and delivery. In addition, ACTA will be the first to launch a Travel Learning Campus for its members.

The Travel Learning Campus offers white labeled e-learning platforms and programs to the Travel Industry across North America. Travel Learning Campuses are built with the objective of supporting the retail travel distribution chain by providing a standard to online training and development that will support growth of sales and industry professionalism. Educational content will be delivered based on the needs of the Travel Agencies to improve on knowledge and increase performance for agents and owners.

“We’re pleased to announce our agreement to bring the Travel Learning Campus to our members,” states David McCaig, President and COO of ACTA. “When we acquired the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (CITC) just over a year ago we made a significant continued commitment to education and professionalism. This partnership helps us advance our training capability and online engagement that we will be able to deliver to ACTA members. ACTA is excited to endorse and support the Travel Learning Campus as the learning platform of choice for the Travel Industry.”

“Our overall goal is to increase performance, productivity and profitability,” states Simon Gilmartin, President of DWG Performance Inc. “The Travel Learning Campus is our first initiative within the travel industry to achieve this. We are extremely excited to be part of helping retail travel agents and owners drive performance in their business by increasing capability.”

“We are honored to be part of bringing the Travel Learning Campus to the Travel Industry,” states Sabine Steinbrecher, CEO, Learning Library Inc. “For over 15 years we have been a leader in designing, delivering and managing online education platforms and programs for other industries and are excited to be able to bring these proven systems and programs to the Travel industry as well.”
