Twickenham Stadium completes West Stand Conference and Hospitality refurb as next phase of £76m. redevelopment

The recent upgrades see four of the stadium’s VIP suites receive a design overhaul, including new technology infrastructure and the addition of new floor to ceiling windows to maximise views of the hallowed Twickenham turf.

Twickenham Stadium has completed refurbishment work on its West Stand conference and hospitality facilities, as part of the Rugby Football Union’s £76 million investment to deliver a state-of-the-art stadium ahead of the World Cup tournament in 2015.

The recent upgrades see four of the stadium’s VIP suites receive a design overhaul, including new technology infrastructure and the addition of new floor to ceiling windows to maximise views of the hallowed Twickenham turf. Access to the stadium’s popular spaces for day conferences, the Spirit of Rugby room and Member’s Lounge, has also been modernised with a new guest entrance further enhancing the experience for delegates when they attend events at Twickenham Stadium.

In addition to a new range of furniture throughout the event spaces, the hospitality facilities are further enhanced with the addition of new bar areas in the Council Room and Ante Room of the President’s Suite and a larger Member’s Lounge bar.

Chris Morris, Managing Director of Twickenham Experience Limited, says: “These are exciting times as we see our venue develop to deliver an even better experience to delegates and hospitality guests. As we prepare to host the world’s finest rugby teams in September 2015, we are also preparing to host the finest event experiences at the stadium. The new developments bring a fresh feel to our spaces and create more opportunities for a range of events and enhanced technology infrastructure.
