ALD opens independent shared-use lounge in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport

The Club at CVG marks ALD's seventh location, welcoming travelers flying through CVG.

CINCINNATI – Airport Lounge Development Inc. (ALD), leading U.S. independent shared-use lounge developer, announced the opening of its newest lounge at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, The Club at CVG. This marks ALD’s seventh club, illustrating their commitment to continued expansion of their shared-use lounges in the U.S.

“Home to nine Fortune 500 companies, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is an ideal location for our newest club. The Club at CVG will differentiate the travel experience for new and existing customers traveling through the area,” said Nancy Knipp, senior vice president at ALD. “The independent shared-use lounge concept continues to grow throughout the U.S. as airports are now more than ever realizing the benefits and improvement to their bottom line and the customer experience.”

The Club at CVG is located in Concourse A, between Gates A8 and A10 at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. It is also accessible to all passengers traveling through or out of Concourse B and is a quick 5 minute train ride between the concourses. Lounge access is available for $35 and welcome to all passengers regardless of carrier, class of ticket or affinity membership. The club additionally welcomes members of Priority Pass, Priority Pass Select and Lounge Club.

The lounge provides both business and leisure travelers alike a refuge from the stress of modern travel, with the design intended to create an informal and relaxing ambience.

The lounge features a variety of settings including social spaces for dining or cocktails and quiet areas to relax or conduct business. Passengers can enjoy views of the tarmac through floor to ceiling windows, while relishing in comfortable and spacious seating in soft tones of sage green, slate green and fog grey. Lounge customers have access to a variety of amenities including free snacks and beverages, complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, bar service and work stations with PC’s and printers. The Club at CVG is approximately 1,900 square feet and provides ample seating to accommodate traveler’s needs.

“We are excited to open The Club at CVG and offer our passengers that travel through Cincinnati an opportunity for pre-flight relaxation,” said Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III, Kenton County Airport Board Chairman.

Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport added, “We are confident the shared-use lounge will further distinguish us in the market, bring in revenue and most importantly, heighten the customer experience. We anticipate an increasing number of business and leisure passengers taking advantage of The Club at CVG.”

ALD’s six other lounges include: The Club at DFW, located in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport; The Club at LAS in Terminals 1 and 3 in Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport; The Club at SJC, located in Mineta San Jose International Airport; The Club at ATL, located in the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and The Club at PHX, located in the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

All clubs offer an all-inclusive, affordable and hospitable airport lounge experience for anyone who is looking for a place to relax, be productive or simply spend time with family, friends or business colleagues, before, during or after their travel journey.
