Air Canada to launch non-stop flights from Dallas-Fort Worth to Vancouver

New service strengthens Air Canada’s Vancouver Asia-Pacific hub.

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TX – Air Canada announced new daily, year-round non-stop flights between Dallas-Fort Worth and Vancouver beginning February 6, 2017.

"Air Canada is pleased to announce a new Canadian destination from Dallas-Fort Worth with the addition of Vancouver to our existing Toronto service. Our new Vancouver service will offer travelers convenient connections to our non-stop flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo (Narita) and Hong Kong, as well as to a multitude of destinations across Western Canada including easy access to Canada's Rocky Mountains for skiing adventures this coming winter. The seamless connections through in-transit preclearance facilities and competitive elapsed travel times make Air Canada and Vancouver a preferred trans-Pacific option for travel. Air Canada is the foreign carrier operating the most flights to the U.S., carrying the most customers and serving the most destinations," said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines, at Air Canada.

"International travelers are increasingly finding that connecting through Canada on Air Canada is the most convenient way to fly from the U.S. to Europe and Asia. Not only do we offer some of the shortest elapsed travel times, our Canadian hubs provide international travelers seamless connections and our international fleet features lie-flat seats in International Business Class, the option of Premium Economy cabin on select flights, and seatback in-flight entertainment throughout all aircraft. All flights provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption, Star Alliance reciprocal benefits and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access at our hubs, priority boarding and other benefits."

Flights are timed for fast and easy connections in YVR to Air Canada's non-stop flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo (Narita) and Hong Kong, as well as to a multitude of destinations across Western Canada. The seamless connections through in-transit preclearance facilities and competitive elapsed travel times make Air Canada and Vancouver a preferred trans-Pacific option for travel.

Launching February 6, 2017, Air Canada's Dallas-Fort Worth-Vancouver flights will be operated by Jazz Aviation LP under the Air Canada Express brand with 75-seat, wi-fi equipped CRJ-705 aircraft, offering both Business and Economy cabins of service as well as in-flight entertainment at every seat.
