AeroCentury Corp. announces aircraft purchase

AeroCentury is an aircraft operating lessor and finance company specializing in leasing regional aircraft and engines utilizing triple net leases.

BURLINGAME, CALIF. – AeroCentury Corp., an independent aircraft leasing company, announced the purchase from and leaseback to Adria Airways of two Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft.

“These are our first CRJ900s,” said Neal D. Crispin, President of AeroCentury. “Adria Airways, a Star Alliance member, is the national carrier of Slovenia and offers scheduled flights to twenty-two destinations throughout Europe. We are pleased to be adding a new aircraft type and a new customer at the same time.”

“Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets are providing excellent cost efficiency and network flexibility and have been very well received by our passengers,” said Mark Anzur, Chief Executive Officer at Adria Airways. “We are very pleased to have performed a sale and leaseback of two CRJ900 aircraft with AeroCentury.”
