Costa neoClassica enters service after a complete restyling.

Costa Cruises invested 22.5 million euros to expand Costa neoCollection. Costa neoClassica (53,000 gross tonnage and 654 cabins) enters service after a complete restyling from 18 December 2014.

Costa Classica will join Costa neoCollection as Costa neoClassica and, together with Costa neoRomantica (56,000 gross tonnage and 789 cabins) and Costa neoRiviera (48,000 gross tonnage and 624 cabins). Costa neoClassica will offer some of the most stunning Costa neoCollectrion itineraries, the “slow” cruise style and offer cruise to unique destinations with great natural scenery and superb cultural attractions, including some that have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.The Costa neoCollection is ideal for couples, honeymooners and group of friends, with services of the highest quality designed to allow each Guest to experience the cruise with greater freedom, flexibility and at their own pace.

Since 8 November, Costa neoClassica’s restyling took place at San Giorgio del Porto yards in Genoa, one of the international leaders for ship refittig. This project involves about 600 technicians and 400 crew members.
