ETOA and UKinbound join forces to promote the UK tourism industry at March Marketplace 2015

The partnership will open business development opportunities to UK tourism businesses, exposing UKinbound’s members to ETOA’s network of international tourism buyers during the two-day B2B business networking event.

ETOA, the European tourism association, has formed a partnership with UKinbound to cooperate on the promotion of the UK’s visitor offer to international markets.

UKinbound promotes inbound tourism to the UK, representing over 300 tourism businesses including tourist boards, hotels and attractions. ETOA’s only UK and Ireland-focussed workshop, March Marketplace (MAMA), is undoubtedly the best event for cooperation between the two associations and the most effective forum to demonstrate the UK’s offer to international buyers.

The partnership will open business development opportunities to UK tourism businesses, exposing UKinbound’s members to ETOA’s network of international tourism buyers during the two-day B2B business networking event; one day will be dedicated to promoting the UK and Ireland, another to London as the gateway destination for both countries.

Deirdre Wells, CEO of UKinbound said: “Working together with ETOA, March Marketplace will grow business opportunities for both members alike. In addition to enhancing the reach of the UK’s tourism product to new international buyers, this event will demonstrate how well equipped our members are to service the requirements of overseas trade and the strength of the UK’s inbound tourism sector”.

Martine Ainsworth-Wells of ETOA said “The UK’s constantly developing tourism product, be it restaurants, attractions, retail or accommodation, are of great interest to ETOA’s network of international buyers. Innovation and developments in the UK’s tourism sector will be showcased to this audience at MAMA by UKinbound members, enabling operators to promote this world class product to their customers.”
