CCRA announces its 2015 "PowerSolutions" Regional Travel Event Series schedule

Building on the success of CCRA’s first annual travel event series held throughout 2014, the 2015 PowerSolutions regional travel events will offer even more diverse opportunities for the travel agent community.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – CCRA – a global hub for travel technology, marketing, accreditation and education – announced the schedule for its CCRA PowerSolutions Regional Travel Event series that will take place in six cities across the nation on select dates throughout 2015. These regional events will bring together professional travel agents, elite travel suppliers, and CCRA representatives from its growing number of company divisions including OSSN and True, Inc., for a social evening of networking and learning.

Building on the success of CCRA’s first annual travel event series held throughout 2014, the 2015 PowerSolutions regional travel events will offer even more diverse opportunities for the travel agent community to network and develop relationships with like-minded professionals, featuring a vast array of suppliers at each event to include: hotels & resorts, airlines, car rental companies, tour operators, cruise lines, travel technology providers, and more. Over the past year, the positive evolution of the CCRA brand has been at the forefront of the company’s overall growth, marked by a significant expansion of its breadth of services and offerings for both travel agents and suppliers that will be showcased at the events.

“Our PowerSolutions events offer a unique platform for travel agents throughout the U.S. and leading suppliers from across the globe to come together to share knowledge, build relationships, and learn new ways to become more profitable and successful by working together,” said Dic Marxen, President and CEO of CCRA. “Not only are these regional events free for registered travel agents to attend, but they were created for proactive industry professionals seeking ongoing travel industry education and interest in building face-to-face relationships with a diverse range of suppliers that truly value the travel agent community and are offering new ways for travel agents to become more competitive and profitable.”

Not only has CCRA increased the number of PowerSolutions events from four to six total shows, but the company has also added events in key cities along the East and West coasts, to reach an even greater number of professional travel agents and agencies. The events will be held at prestigious Intercontinental Hotel Group properties in each city as the CCRA “Power Sponsor” for the 2015 PowerSolutions Event series.  Specific hotel names and locations will be announced at a later date. The CCRA 2015 PowerSolutions Event Schedule is as follows:

  • Anaheim, CA area – February 19, 2015
  • Miami, FL – April 29th, 2015
  • Boston, MA – June 3rd, 2015
  • Washington DC – September 2015 (Exact date TBD)
  • Newark, NJ – October 13th, 2015
  • Long Island, NY – October 14th, 2015.

The 2015 events will provide a convenient way for industry professionals to learn more about the latest preferred supplier products, travel agent commissions & incentives, and educational opportunities all under one roof. This regional event series also provides a platform for CCRA representatives to inform travel agents about exciting new company developments including enhanced agent offerings, hotel and airline booking platforms and educational opportunities. CCRA’s growing number of domestic and international preferred suppliers will be in attendance, as well as OSSN and TRUE, Inc. member representatives who will be able to answer questions about the array of membership benefits and offerings for travel professionals and current members. Agents will also learn how they can earn more profits through CCRA’s popular CCRAtravel.com hotel booking engine and the new CCRA AirSelect Central air booking engine, as CCRA now allows travel agents to earn competitive commissions at both leading hotels and through booking international flights across the globe.
