Tripacus disrupts the online travel market

Tripacus connects hotels directly with travelers in a bid to increase direct bookings.

DALLAS – The online travel market is in for a shake up with Tripacus bringing their unique software platform to the table enabling Hotels to restore their direct bookings from the big online travel giants and take back control of their brand. There are numerous reasons for the growth in market share for online travel agents and decrease in direct bookings; technology, resources and the rising tide of mobile devices are something discussed at length at Travel Industry conferences worldwide.

Tripacus brings a bevy of solutions to today’s Hoteliers woes – including the facility to upgrade their own Hotel website to an optimized, fast, booking site; quickly, easily and for a minimal cost starting at around just one US dollar per day inclusive of web hosting. The Hotel can choose from 10 different designs, select their own colors and fonts, upload their logo, images and have their website completely updated in around 30 minutes flat.

Tripacus.com is the new traveler booking website offering, similar to a conventional OTA in some ways yet conversely charges 0% commission on bookings and lists the direct contact details for their Member Hotels so online users can contact the Hotel with ease as opposed to hiding these details until after confirmation of the booking.

The cherry on top of the Tripacus pie is the bookable mobile site Tripacus offers all their member Hotels; with more people now using mobile devices than desktop and up to 40% of hotel bookings coming from tablet and mobile devices in some Countries, the importance of a mobile-friendly website is unquestionable.

“Accommodation Providers and Travellers’ alike will benefit from increased direct bookings; not only does eliminating outrageous agency commissions help the bottom line of the Accommodation Business and increase the funds they have to reinvest in marketing their own brand but it will also benefit the Traveller with Hoteliers able to pass on more competitive rates by eliminating that commission” said Daniel Moses, Director – Tripacus.

Tripacus offer two membership tiers; the first a standard membership which incorporates the listing on tripacus.com and the self-branded bookable mobile website and secondly, a website membership which includes the upgraded desktop website in addition to the listing on tripacus.com and the mobile website.
