LOT Polish Airlines appoints CarTrawler as Exclusive Car Rental Partner

This enhanced collaboration will provide LOT customers with a direct connection to over 1,300 leading and independent car rental agents in over 30,000 airport and city locations across 174 different countries.

DUBLIN – CarTrawler has announced a new partnership with Poland’s national flag carrier, LOT Polish Airlines. This enhanced collaboration will provide LOT customers with a direct connection to over 1,300 leading and independent car rental agents in over 30,000 airport and city locations across 174 different countries.

LOT Polish Airlines currently serves over 40 destinations in the world including Western Europe, North America and Asia and is the first European airline company to operate a fleet of the latest generation Boeing 787 Dreamliner. LOT is a member of Star Alliance since 2003, whose network currently offers more than 21,900 daily flights to 1,328 airports in 195 countries all over the world.

CarTrawler is based in Dublin, Ireland and has been providing online car rental and customer support to thousands of travel brands including more than 65 international airlines since 2004. LOT Polish Airlines is part of a growing list of airlines worldwide that connect their passengers to car rental through CarTrawler’s online marketplace.

Speaking in Dublin yesterday, Michael Cunningham, Chief Commerical Officer at CarTrawler said, “With global estimates for airline ancillary revenue valued at $49.9 billion in 2014, there is no doubt about the commercial importance that car rental presents. Airlines that build their customer offering around passenger needs and preferences will not only grow their ancillary revenue but increase customer loyalty.
