Hotel management company HotelBrain held its fifth annual meeting last Saturday in Athens, Greece

After a brief flashback to the company’s 15 year history in hotel management field, Mr. Panos Paleologos, HotelBrain’s President and Founder presented all members of the 11 departments of the company, explaining in detail its assessment and objectives for 2015.

Set in the 10th HORECA exhibition of the C2 Conference Hall at the iconic Metropolitan Expo exhibition center, HotelBrain’s meeting was considered by all attendees to reflect that the company is “totally up-to-date and always at the forefront of new developments in the tourism industry market.”

The event welcomed more than 300 visitors from within the Greek Tourism and Hotel Industry, as well as honorary guests, Mr. Konstantinos Zikos, former President of the GNTO, Mr. Gianluca Laterza, Territory Director of Tripadvisor and Mr. Kostas Pantis, Account Manager of Baidu and representatives from the media industry. This year’s meeting once more showed the company’s professionalism, extroversion and continuous effort to improve Greece as an appealing destination for tourists.

2014 Financial Figures of the Hotels Managed by HotelBrain

  • Total Revenue for 2014 of the HotelBrain’s managed hotels: 51.4million euros (compared with 42.8 million euros in 2013 – the above numbers do not include VAT and local tax rates)
  • Average Occupancy for 2014 of the HotelBrain’s managed hotels: 72.90% (68.5% in 2013 – the above figures do not include free/complimentary nights)
  • Net Average Room Rate for 2014: 181.36 euros (164.58 euros in 2013 – the above figures do not include local taxes, breakfasts and half board meals)

2015 Forecast

  • 115 under Management hotels
  • Total Revenue of the HotelBrain’s managed hotels:60.7 million euros
  • Average Occupancy of the HotelBrain’s managed hotels: 73.50%
  • Net Average Room Rate of the HotelBrain’s managed hotels : 185.7 euros
