XING Events expands its events area

Improved communication between organizers and attendees; Password protected attendee area on XING.

MUNICH – XING Events, the event industry expert for attendee management and event marketing, is launching a personal attendee area on XING, creating the opportunity for organizers to communicate with their attendees during all phases of the event.

Improved communication between organizers and attendees
From now on, organizers have the opportunity to communicate with their attendees in a password protected area on the XING platform during all phases of the event. Via file uploads, the organizer can store documents such as presentations, brochures or important information and announcements in the personal area. Having purchased a ticket, the attendee is granted access to his/her personal area of the event where he/she can view all the information. Additionally the ticket, the invoice and all data entered during the order process are all available there as well. With the XING EVENTS app, it is possible to access important information and documents on the go.

Convenient event experience for participants
The new attendee area is another important feature of the XING Events Market that was launched at the end of last year. With the access that the attendee is granted after purchasing the ticket, all other event related services become available, such as people2meet, which makes preparing for the event easy.

Maik Wiege, Senior Product Manager at XING Events, said: “With the new attendee area, we have created a function that offers additional value for the organizers as well as the attendees. Organizers have the opportunity to provide their attendees with specific information about the event. The attendees, on the other hand, can find all relevant content conveniently in one place, which has a positive effect on attendee satisfaction.”
