Al Marjan Island gears for strong investment activity in 2015

Sales and investments on Al Marjan Island doubled in January 2015, compared to last year.

RAS AL-KHAIMAH, UAE – Architect Abdullah Rashed Al Abdooli, Managing Director of Al Marjan Island Company, revealed that sales and investments on Al Marjan Island (AMI) doubled in January 2015, compared to the same period last year.

Al Abdooli attributed the dramatic growth to the unique investment environment offered by AMI, supported by the long-term vision of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. According to Al Abdooli, AMI provides great facilities for hotels and related companies setting up operations at a time when the island is attracting hordes of tourists and guests.

Experts point out that the strong demand for real estate in freehold areas in Ras Al Khaimah is boosting the strength in the Emirate, attracting international investors.

The heightened investment in AMI coincides with rising demand for luxury hotels and residential apartments and, which is an indicator that investors are closely monitoring the UAE real estate market and channeling their investments accordingly,” said Al Abdooli.

Investors can see the investment potential on AMI from their very first visit, inspired by the picturesque white beaches and the magnificent setting. They can sense the scope for upscale offering on the residential and tourism forefronts.

Located south-west of Ras Al Khaimah city centre, Al Marjan Island is located 27 kilometers from the city. AMI comprises four coral-shaped islands that include a range of marina homes floating villas, hotels, resorts, sports facilities and shopping centers. The island lies at a distance of 4.5 km from the beach and extends 2.7 million square meters into the sea.

AMI is truly a giant architectural project, unleashing highly promising investment opportunities in the long, medium and short term. The strategic location of the island makes tourism a feasible investment. It is located just 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, and 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport. It is a perfect destination, whether for permanent residence, or for a relaxing weekend,” concluded Al Abdooli.
