Aggressive scale of hotel properties to achieve geo-distribution infrastructure for enterprise data while delivering new in-room guest services.
SUNNYVALE, CALIF. – LeoNovus Inc., a leading Internet developer with its SMART Media Platform and distributed Cloud Services, and 360 VOX Hospitality Services Inc., a global real estate company with hospitality services, asset management, real estate development, and marketing and sales businesses, announced today a new agreement to deliver LeoNovus products and services to the multi-billion dollar global hospitality market.
The LeoNovus hospitality product delivers a full suite of in-room infotainment that provides just-in-time interactive services, such as in-room dining, promotional advertising and real-time guest services information, eliminating the need for costly printing or updating of large binders, as well as on-screen check out. The newly designed easy-to-use interface, with a full browser, also allows for access to email and Facebook, or sourcing local hometown news and entertainment in the language of choice. Additionally, the product leverages LeoNovus’ proprietary distributed processing technologies to optimize an internal network for the purposes of adding new revenue streams from cloud data services.

The companies are working together to install geo-disbursed properties in both Canada and the US and have one operational hotel with a total of 200 rooms. Four additional properties have been identified as candidates in the first phase. The companies plan to include international properties as part of their second phase strategy. 360 VOX HSI will act as an agent in securing hotel partners and the required computing hardware and LeoNovus will integrate the hospitality interface and cloud-services technologies, while supporting sales and operations. This results in a highly efficient and secure geo-distributed virtual data center with the lowest cost structure, including redundancy for high disaster recovery – all with a substantially lower carbon footprint than traditional data centers that require significant power and cooling to operate thousands of hardware servers in a single location.
