Booking private jets on the go with Victor Mobile

Global on-demand jet charter service launches mobile app, allowing travellers to search, compare, book and board, with no membership fees.

LONDON – Victor, the global on-demand jet charter service, launches Victor mobile, the smartest and easiest way to book private jet travel. In addition, the company is announcing that it has closed an $8m funding round to support its expansion into the US market.

The launch and the funding are the latest stage in Victor’s journey to revolutionise the $14 billion global private aviation charter market with its disruptive approach.  The company partners with private aviation providers worldwide to offer customers a quick and simple way to search, compare and book private jet travel.

Developed by and for frequent private jet fliers, the Victor iOS app is the first completely transparent jet charter app, offering access to real-time charter pricing, aircraft and crew specifics, side-by-side available jet comparisons, instant booking and digital travel itineraries – all from the convenience of a user’s smartphone or tablet device.

With no upfront membership fees, travellers can register with Victor in seconds and have immediate access to 7,000 aircrafts with availability at 40,000 airports worldwide, allowing users to instantly search, compare, book a flight and board their selected aircraft using the app.

In addition, to meet the growing demand for private jet chartering by American ultra-high net worth individuals, Victor has completed an $8m mezzanine funding round from private investors, including many regular Victor users.  The company is also supporting its expansion with a new US-based office. The US is the largest region for private aviation accounting for 49.7% of the global market, with Europe taking a 20.8% share.

“Victor is challenging the private jet industry by making the buying process as easy and transparent as possible so consumers have all the information they need before and after booking a jet,” said Clive Jackson, CEO, Victor.

“The app is the ultimate travel accessory for private jet fliers who are typically time poor and require a bespoke service that meets their individual travel needs and is simple to use.”

Clive added, “Expanding our operations to the US ensures we have presence in the most dominant market and are able to be closer to our customers in the region.”

“Our shareholders are also some of Victor’s most frequent fliers, which is evidence that our customers value and trust our business model.”

Victor is expecting 300% growth in its customer base through the app launch and US expansion and is the fastest growing European jet charter service.
