As well as the Meteor Meet and Greet operations Purple Parking will also acquire the Pink Elephant Parking brand as part of the deal.
Purple Parking has announced it has this week completed the acquisition of the market-leading Meteor Meet and Greet airport parking business from VINCI Park UK.
This transaction will see Purple Parking take over the distribution of the entire Meteor Meet and Greet UK airport parking facilities, including those at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham and Manchester.
As well as the Meteor Meet and Greet operations Purple Parking will also acquire the Pink Elephant Parking brand as part of the deal.
In a joint statement, Phillip Herring, Managing Director of VINCI Park UK, and Mark Hinge, Managing Director of Purple Parking, comments: “We are delighted with the successful acquisition, which will enable the continuation of a quality service to be delivered nationwide and ensure the future of the Meteor Meet and Greet and the Pink Elephant Parking brands”.
VINCI Park, the specialist parking provider, will continue to focus on building its parking portfolio and pursue growth in its core markets of health, retail, local authorities and rail. Purple Parking will build scale in its core airport markets and consolidate its position as the largest provider of airport parking in the UK.
