Which regions help your travel budget and how the cities in the United Kingdom are developing in comparison is shown in the hotel price barometer of the international booking portal hotel.info.

Scandinavia is a hot tip for your trip at the moment. “In comparison with last year room prices are considerably lower in the Nordic countries. In addition the weaker Scandinavian currencies against the Pound make a holiday much cheaper at the moment”, explained Ralf Priemer, Managing Director at hotel.info. Even in the large cities in Northern Europe the hotel prices have decreased. In Norway in Oslo the prices have fallen by about a quarter to £92.93, in Finland in Helsinki by 23.91 % to £93.01. Also Stockholm (£100.18) and Copenhagen (£94.93) are attractive with lower prices.

However if you want to stay in a top quality hotel at a low price you should choose a holiday in the Czech Republic.
