International Port Corp announces ferry service to Cuba

Arrangements are currently being made with Cuban authorities to establish all protocols in Cuba for direct IPC passenger service.

MIAMI – International Port Corp received US Licenses from both the US Treasury Department and the US Commerce Department for direct passenger ferry service from Florida to Cuba.

Through IPC’s direct container shipping division, from Miami to Cuba, IPC has security clearance for vessels and terminal privileges.

International Port Corp made world history on July 11, 2012 with the first vessel which sailed directly from Miami to Havana in over 50 years. The story was covered by over 130 countries.

Arrangements are currently being made with Cuban authorities to establish all protocols in Cuba for direct IPC passenger service.

International Port Corp appreciates the opportunity to make history again with the first regularly scheduled passenger ferry from Miami to Havana.
