Partnership going strong between Comarch and Thomas Cook

This partnership has resulted in a significant reduction in on-going IT operational costs for Thomas Cook and enhanced their flexibility to respond and deliver IT services based on business needs.

KRAKOW, POLAND – The Thomas Cook Group, a pioneer in the global travel industry, has selected Comarch, the software house and IT service provider to supply resource augmentation services as well as support the transition of Data Centres and daily operations in-house.

Working together, Thomas Cook and Comarch have already successfully moved services to the new model on budget and two months earlier than the originally agreed date, completing the complex transition of Service Management, Data Centre and Network & Telephony services. Comarch has also started providing Data Centre and other daily operational services as a part of the extended Thomas Cook team.

This partnership has resulted in a significant reduction in on-going IT operational costs for Thomas Cook and enhanced their flexibility to respond and deliver IT services based on business needs.

“The model that we decided to implement at Comarch proves to be very successful. Rarely do you come across a vendor who is that committed and passionate about the project. Comarch is a truly global IT service provider and we are very happy that we have chosen them to be our partner” explains Gary Dashwood, Group Head IT and Service Operations at Thomas Cook Group.
