Only-apartments purchase Professional Holiday Rentals Company

Quadrupling European short-term apartment rental stock.

Only-apartments – the short-stay apartment rental website have purchased the ‘Professional Holiday Rentals company, which includes the Migoa website and totals more than 100,000 apartments. Only-apartments, which to date focused mainly on apartments in European cities , now swells its apartment rentals by nearly 400%, including many European holiday destinations, such as the Balearic and Canary Islands and many popular Spanish coastline areas.

Barcelona based – Only-apartments, is the original online short-stay apartment rental site, launched in 2003 and as a result of buying Professional Holiday Rentals SL – owner of Migoa the holiday rental portal that operates in 12 countries; Only-apartments have quadrupled the number of apartments on offer. With this acquisition, Only-apartments continues their expansion plan, which includes the opening of a new US office in May 2015 and a catalogue of more than 98,000 vacation homes. These new properties are mostly located in holiday destinations, which enables the company to gain strength beyond the European capitals that they previously specialised in – such as; Barcelona, Rome, Paris, London, Berlin.

By buying Professional Holiday Rentals, Only-apartments aims to continue to be a leader in the quickly growing and very competitive short-stay market. Alon Eldar, Founder and CEO of Only-apartments says; ‘Migoa’s technological platform is tremendous and offers the ability to quickly integrate multiple sales channels and consequently, increase the number of properties the traveler can find’. Professional Holiday Rentals was founded in 2014 and has a team consisting of 10 professionals who will continue to work in the same roles.
