Egencia study reveals almost half of UK stressed and exhausted on business travel

Almost half of Britons feel exhausted and stressed on business travel. Also, 67% of Britons would prioritise Wi-Fi over breakfast when working abroad.

Data from EgenciaExpedia’s corporate travel division – shows that almost half of Brits find business travel exhausting and stressful, while the large majority of French and Germans are happy and motivated while travelling on business.

The attached infographic shows statistics from the survey including:

  • Almost half of Britons feel exhausted and stressed on business travel
  • For Britons, 41% of time is unproductive during travel
  • 67% of Britons would prioritise Wi-Fi over breakfast when working abroad.

All data comes from the Egencia Business and Travel Technology survey of 1000 business travellers in France, Germany and the UK conducted in February 2015 by the independent polling company OnePoll.
