Estonian Air earned punctuality award

In the first six months the 15-minute punctuality of Estonian Air flights was 91.0%, and in June 91.6% respectively.

Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport announced on the ceremony devoted to punctuality awards that Estonian Air was the most punctual airline.

Estonian Air was awarded for being the most punctual airline in Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport in the category of foreign airlines (serving less than 100 000 passengers a year on this route) based on the results of the first half of the year.

Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport is the largest Russian airport handling scheduled international flights. The Airport’s network of routes includes more than 200 destinations.

“This is a very important recognition for us – being the most punctual among international airlines. Previous years, Estonian Air has earned the title of most punctual airline in such bigger international airports as Amsterdam Schiphol, Brussels and Kiev. Providing excellent services and regular daily connections starting from Tallinn is the approach the whole Estonian Air team is striving for,” says Indrek Randveer, CCO of Estonia Air.

In the first six months the 15-minute punctuality of Estonian Air flights was 91.0%, and in June 91.6% respectively.

Estonian Air is aiming to provide Estonia with reliable and regular double daily connections to destinations of strategic importance and of substantial demand. Being a small country on the periphery of Europe, Estonia depends on such connections, and Estonian Air is committed to provide these services.

Estonian Air, Estonia’s national carrier, is the biggest operator at Tallinn Airport. The airline flies regular routes to Stockholm (Arlanda and Bromma), Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Oslo, Moscow, St Petersburg, Kiev, Vilnius and Trondheim. Until October 2015, Estonian Air also operates seasonal flights to Munich, Paris, Berlin, Nice, Vienna, Split and Milan.

In addition to direct flights, Estonian Air is providing more than 280 destinations around the world together with partner airlines. For instance, Stockholm Arlanda, Copenhagen and Amsterdam airports act as important hubs for connecting flights.
